In the Sixers' locker room following every win, Doug Collins gives an award called the Ace of Spades to the player(s) whose play was most central to lifting the team to victory.

The honor recognizes savvy defense, outstanding rebounding, excellent playmaking, extra hustle, energy off the bench, leadership, clutch performance, and other intangibles that may not show up on the stat sheet but are central to the success of the team.
