The Charlotte Bobcats and Cats Care seek to enrich communities in the Charlotte area and across the Carolinas by supporting organizations with initiatives in education, hunger and wellness. An opportunity to involve the Cats Care with the work of other community groups is something that we value. We are asked to support hundreds of worthwhile charitable causes each year, and we will make every effort to support as many requests as possible.
Types of support include in-kind donations to the fundraising efforts of qualifying non-profit agencies; appearance by Rufus and the Lady Cats; and a limited number of appearances by Bobcats players and coaches during the regular season. Select members of the Bobcats business staff are also available to address community groups. |

The Charlotte Bobcats and Cats Care are committed to being involved in Charlotte community and working collaboratively with groups and organizations in the Carolinas that desire to make a positive impact in the areas of education, hunger and wellness. We are asked to support hundreds of worthwhile charitable causes each year, and we will make every effort to support as many requests as possible.
Due to the large number of requests we primarily donate to non-profit organizations located in North and South Carolina. All requests must be mailed or faxed 4 weeks prior to the date of the event. An organization is only allowed to receive one donation per year. Please adhere to the following guidelines when making a request:
- All requests should include a brief description of the organization and event; who or what the proceeds will benefit; date, time and location of the event; expected attendance; a specific description of how your request will be used; and a tax identification number and filing status.
